FGA Programs | Educators
Each year the FGA hosts educators across the state for a week-long retreat full of resources, tours, guest speakers, ground-breaking curriculum and completely free educational materials. These workshops are free of charge, including room and board, and travel to cities all along the peninsula. Previous institutes have found their homes at the Archbold Biological Station, Hillsborough River State Park, and right here at our headquarters in Florida's Capitol. This exciting annual event aims to equip teachers with a whole new love for geography.
The FGA Summer Institutes are set to resume in 2023!
No cost, endless resources. With expert workshop leaders and fun excursions each day, you will leave not only with standards-compliant curriculum, but with a fully renewed passion for the study of place.
